How to Join Us.

Thank you for your interest in standing under our UMBRELLA and becoming part of our ARTSY family! We welcome all artful elements HAND-MADE in Michigan and look forward to seeing your creative works!

Interested artists and makers should fill out an application to begin the jury process. 

The Artsy Umbrella reserves the right to jury all creations that are to be sold within the marketplace. ALL creative work will be evaluated on process, quality, artistic merit, design and the level of craftsmanship in which it was created. 

Once your application is submitted and we feel your creative energy fits under our umbrella... we will contact you for an interview and a walk through of our marketplace. At that time, you will decide on the available space to rent and we will provide you with a contract for your space. 

We strive to maintain a balanced mix of artistic expression and therefore we may defer an artist to our "waitlist" until space opens up to a particular medium, genre, or design trend. 

It's important to us to bring only the highest quality LOCAL artists and makers to our patrons,  therefore an online presence (website, Etsy shop, facebook page, instagram, and/or blog, etc) is a MUST. 

We are a community-based establishment with an invested commitment to our neighboring businesses. Therefore, we promote and market on social media along with local business groups and ask our artists and makers to do so as well.

If you are deferred to our "waitlist" we will keep your info on file & contact you if & when there is a suitable opening in the future.
